Class Guitar Teacher Training:

Pittsburgh, PA, August 4

The one-day symposium is designed to empower middle and high-school Class Guitar teachers who are currently teaching (or who would like to teach) class guitar.  The day will include a variety of sessions led by guitar educators, Dr. Alan Hirsh (Music Director of Bishop McGuinness High School) and Thomas Kikta (Assistant Professor, Music Technology, Classical Guitar—Duquesne University)  Participants will receive a book, a guitar strap and learn how the Shearer method, one of the most proven effective classic guitar methods is ideally suited for classroom application.
