Mouth Percussion Instructions
- Try to avoid vowel sounds as much as possible.
- Make sure to spread the corners of your mouth wide on the syllable "CHIK" to make the sound as bright as possible.
- Use your lower stomach muscles to help push the bass of "bah" (mostly in lower guitar parts).
- The accented "k' is produced with an inhale, with the back of the tongue up against the hard pallete of the mouth.
- Lsstly, the volume and projection of vocal percussion depends on good air intake and flow. Plan your breathing about a beat ahead of the entries (not at the last moment of the entry).
